Fibroid and cysts are both benign tumors in women, but are located differently and with varied texture. While fibroid are found in/outside the uterus, cysts are located in the ovaries.
Cysts are common in women of childbearing age. And they result from ovulation. During ovulation, a hormone releases from the pituitary gland to stimulate follicles in the ovary and produce estrogen.
